The Minnesota Commercial Diver Training Center is located within the Minnesota School of Diving building. The building is located in the center of downtown Brainerd, MN on Hwy 210 one block East of the Landmark Water Tower. Brainerd is located in the geographical center of the state. Because of the 624 lakes and 27 flooded iron mine pits within 50 mile radius of Brainerd, it has developed into one of the largest resort areas in the state. Brainerd is located about two hours North of Minneapolis. Brainerd has a regional airport serviced by Delta Airlines.
